A SPATE of advertisements has hit users of several social media platforms advertising new registration and renewal services for Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) vendors.
As the advertiser is not Felda, does this mean that the authority has started using a third party to manage its vendor services?

According to a post on Felda's official Facebook page, it denies ever procuring the services of a third-party agent to manage its vendor registration and renewal services.
The post added that the agency was aware of the advertisement and advised vendors and contractors not to use third parties not recognised by Felda.
It said the agency could not be held responsible for any losses that may result from such illegal services.
The post then went on to urge potential contractors and vendors to use official channels, such as its website www.tenderwizard.my, to submit tenders.
