MESSAGES have been circulating on social media and WhatsApp claiming the apparent closure of the Tok Pasai bridge in Kuala Kedah. Is it true that the bridge is closed?

In a post on its Facebook page, the Kota Setar Public Works Department (PWD) has clarified that the Tok Pasai bridge is not closed to the public.
The post added that any closure would be announced in advance via the PWD portal.
Users are advised to refer to the PWD’s official Facebook page for the latest updates.
It also urged the public to be wary of fake news, and to refrain from further circulating the false information.
