A DASHCAM recording has gone viral, showing shocking footage of a food delivery rider assaulting a security guard.

The incident occurred around Taman Bukit Meringin in Sg Ramal Luar, Kajang, Selangor on Feb 24 at about 6.30pm.
According to Kajang district police chief ACP Mohd Zaid Hassan, the food delivery rider was not happy when stopped by the Nepalese security guard from entering the housing area.
He noted that the suspect had wanted to go to one of the houses in the neighbourhood, but the security guard pointed out that the house is empty and unoccupied - and did not allow the suspect passage into the neighbourhood.
"The suspect got angry and was not happy with the attitude of the victim, got down from his motorcycle and kicked the victim in his stomach.
"The incident was witnessed by another food delivery rider and was recorded on the dashcam of a car of another eye-witness," ACP Mohd Zaid said in a statement.
The employer of the victim then lodged a police report on the incident at the Kajang district police headquarters later the same day.
ACP Mohd Zaid added that the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kajang district police headquarters is in the midst of locating the suspect to assist in investigations.
The case is investigated under Section 323/506 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum jail term of one year, fine or both, if convicted.
