ROAD accidents are traumatic and dramatic events, as a lot can happen in the chaos.
Recently, a video went viral on social media where a motorcyclist is seen shooting vertically into the air after hitting another vehicle.
Did this happen in Jempol, Negri Sembilan as claimed?

In a statement, Jempol OCPD Supt Hoo Chang Hook confirmed that the incident happened and added that 25-year-old Orang Asli was killed in the accident on Sunday (June 18).
He said that the victim, Den Jahoring, a furniture factory worker, who was riding the motorcycle, died at the scene due to severe head injuries after hitting a car driven by a 38-year-old man.
"The investigation showed that the victim was going from his house at Kampung Sungai Sampo heading to Felda Lui Selatan," said Supt Hoo.
"It is believed that the victim was trying to overtake a vehicle and was unable to avoid a car coming from the opposite direction," he added.
Supt Hoo said that the case is currently being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act and asked that those with any information on the case come forward to the Jempol district police headquarters or any police station to assist the investigation.
