IF YOU'VE ever had a kitten, you know that they end up getting caught in all sorts of strange places.
However a video that went viral on Tiktok showed a kitten being rescued from the wheel well of a car waiting at a traffic light.
The potentially dangerous situation (dangerous for the kitten that is) was avoided after a kind-hearted soul rushed through traffic to rescue the fearful furry feline. Allegedly, the hero of our story is a police sergeant.
Is this true?

According to a post on the Kedah Police contingent Facebook page, the officer in question was Sergeant Mohd Effendi Karponan.
The keen eyed sergeant from the Traffic Department (Technical) spotted the little feline enter the wheel well of a white hatchback when it stopped at a traffic light.
Without considering his own safety, the Sgt Mohd Effendi rushed through several lanes of traffic to rescue the kitty.
Racing against the clock, Sgt Mohd Effendi tried numerous ways to extract the kitten from its hiding place but this proved difficult as it was afraid of the loud noises all around it.
Finally, Sgt Mohd Effendi asked the driver of the hatchback to turn their tyres to the right and he managed to pull out the tiny kitten from the wheel well and then he rushed off the road with kitty in hand before the lights turned green.
