RECENTLY, some people have been receiving WhatsApp messages from an account that claims to be used by the Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) of the Pahang Police.
Is it true that the department has a WhatsApp account?

In a post on its Facebook page, the Pahang CCID has clarified that it does not have a WhatsApp account.
It advised WhatsApp users to ignore messages they receive if the sender claims to be from the department.
