PLAYING dress-up and pretend are things children love to do especially now with Halloween just around the corner.
However, sometimes things can be taken to far when adults decide to get involved and have ulterior motives.
Recently, a group of men in Penang allegedly dressed up as Telekom Malaysia contractors with the intent of stealing telephone cables only to run afoul of the police. A video of one of the men nabbed by the police has been circulating online.

"As many as four men are believed to have disguised themselves as Telekom Malaysia contractors to steal electrical cables near Jalan Kampung Paya Berapit, Bukit Mertajam, Penang around noon, yesterday (Thursday, Oct 19)," Seberang Perai Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Tan Cheng San said in a statement on Friday (Oct 20).
"One of them was arrested and police are now hunting for three more suspects.
"The case is being investigated under Section 379 of the Penal Code (for theft) and the investigation is still ongoing to locate the suspects still at large," he added.
