RECENTLY, a video went viral on social media; in the video, a man can be seen attacking the driver of a rubbish collection lorry hitting them with a piece of wood while threatening them.

In a statement, Sabak Bernam OCPD Supt Agus Salim Mohd Alias confirmed that the incident happened as seen in the Facebook video.
He said the incident happened while the driver of the rubbish collection lorry was carrying out his duties in the Panchang Bedena area of Sabak Bernam, Selangor.
Supt Agus Salim then said the altercation happened when the driver of the rubbish collection lorry used his horn to get the attention of a car that was blocking his way.
He then said that a person in the car reacted aggressively towards the lorry driver
“The suspect suddenly became aggressive and scolded the lorry driver with foul language, threatened him and proceeded to hit him with a wood object,” he added.
Supt Agus then said that the driver of the rubbish collection lorry sought treatment for his injuries at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Sabak Bernam and was discharged on the same day, adding that a police report was lodged as he was fearful of the threats made.
He called witnesses of the incident to step forward by contacting the Sabak Bernam police station at 03-33242222.
