SOCIAL media users were alarmed by a video clip showing a toddler on a small scooter playing along a busy road.
The clip, apparently dashcam footage, was said to have been recorded near Dengkil, Selangor.

In a statement on Monday (Oct 30), Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said the incident occurred in Kampung Semarang, Dengkil.
Police were notified on Monday by a complainant after the dashcam footage was uploaded online.
A police team was then dispatched to the scene on the same day.
"A relative of the boy was traced to assist in our investigations. The two-year-old boy lives with his family and is the youngest of four siblings.
“The place where he was playing is 70m from his home. The father was watching over him but could not keep up," ACP Wan Kamarul Azran added.
He urged all parents to be more attentive to their children and keep track of their activities, especially outside the home, to prevent any unwanted consequences.
