FIREWORKS are a common feature of festive celebrations in Malaysia but sometimes, individuals take it too far.
A recent viral video shows a man in a car letting off fireworks while it was travelling down a road. Captions on the video indicate that it was recorded in Kuala Lumpur.

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari said police were made aware of the 14 second video clip on Nov 12, at about 8.30pm.
He said the video depicted an unknown individual letting off fireworks from a moving vehicle along Jalan 2/3A in Pusat Bandar Utara Kuala Lumpur.
"Our investigations showed that the video clearly showed a dangerous act being carried out," ACP Ahmad Sukarno said.
He addd that acting on information, police arrested a 31-year-old foreigner and a car believed to have been used in the incident.
"The suspect does not have a criminal record and will be remanded to help in investigations under Section 7 of the Explosives Act 1957," he said.
ACP Ahmad Sukarno advised the public to obey the law and preserve the peace and harmony in Kuala Lumpur.
