A vehicle making a sudden u-turn is always a shock for drivers and the bigger the vehicle less warning given – the more likely it is that an accident can occur.
Recently, a video went viral on social media of a bus bearing Police markings doing a sudden U-turn and hitting a car near Batu Caves. Did the incident really happen as seen in the video?

This was confirmed in a statement by acting Gombak OCPD Supt Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir, who said that the incident happened in Taman Greenwood, Selangor along Jalan Batu Caves.
“The investigation found that the incident happened on Dec 6 at about 2.30pm. The bus was being driven from Batu Caves, Selangor towards Kuala Lumpur,” he added.
Supt Noor Ariffin said that those with more information, the owner of the TikTok account @deafebianschannel1 and the driver of the white car involved in the accident are asked to get in touch with the case's investigating officer Insp Amira Binti Abu Hassan at 019-6026596.
He added that they could alternatively call the Gombak police headquarters at 03-61262222.
