Has this ever happened to you? There you are just minding your own business when suddenly life throws a curveball at you and you find yourself stuck in a monsoon drain.
Try as you might, you can't find a way out and all you do is call out for help and hope someone comes to your rescue. Is that what happened to a buffalo in Padang Temu, Melaka recently?

A female buffalo found herself in this very predicament after falling into a monsoon drain while grazing at Parit Cina grassland in Padang Temu here.
Luckily for her, a member of the public called the Fire and Rescue Department after seeing the buffalo stuck in the drain and making strange noises.
Melaka Fire and Rescue Department commander Amran Kasim said seven men were involved in the rescue mission at about 9am on Tuesday (Dec 19).
He said the spooked female buffalo was rescued by using rope and his men took about 15mins to complete the mission.
