GOING shopping can be a strenuous affair, especially when you just can't find what you are looking for or things are just taking a little bit too long. Long lines and even longer wait times can fray nerves, but impatience is never an excuse to take things too far.
One shopper allegedly did just that in Johor Baru, Johor when she allegedly punched a pregnant cashier in the face.

A cashier was allegedly punched in the face by an angry customer at a popular shopping mall here.
Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat said the 25-year-old victim, who was behind the cashier counter of a chain store, experienced pain and swelling below her left eye as a result of the assault.
He said the incident took place at 3.17pm on Saturday (March 9) when the customer wanted to cancel her purchase.
"The customer was said to be unsatisfied with the time taken by the cashier to cancel the item and assaulted her over the counter.
"The victim lodged a police report shortly afterwards, and we also received another police report lodged by the customer the next day (March 10)," he said in a statement on Monday (March 11).
A closed-circuit television footage of the incident was shared on social media and went viral, said ACP Raub.
In the one-minute 23 second-video clip, the cashier, who was said to be pregnant, could be seen handing over a receipt to the customer, who took it before reaching across the counter to assault the woman.
The customer, who was accompanied by a man and a young boy, then left the premises.
ACP Raub added that the case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code, which carries a jail term of not more than one year or a maximum fine of RM2,000, or both, upon conviction.
