THE LAST time a heat wave hit Malaysia, fires were reported in many parts of the country.
Recently, a viral video of a car engulfed by flames made its rounds on the Internet.
It was said that a husband and wife were in the car when it caught on fire and that the incident happened in Kedah.
Is this true?

Sinar Harian reported that a married couple almost died after their vehicle caught fire on Jalan Ambangan Height Taman SP Saujana Sungai Petani, Kedah.
Kuala Muda police chief Asst Comm Wan Azharuddin Wan Ismail confirmed that MERS 999 received a call about the incident at 6.15pm.
"There were no casualties as the two victims, who were in their 40s, managed to get out of the vehicle.
"The fire reportedly engulfed the entire car, and the Fire and Rescue Department extinguished it," he said.
