Recently, a two-and-a-half minute clip depicting a skirmish involving three players from an incident at the Johor Schools Sports Council football tournament at a local secondary school went viral on social media platforms.

Mersing Police Chief Superintendent Abdul Razak Abdullah Sani reported that while there was a skirmish involving three players, it was promptly addressed with disciplinary measures by the game’s referee.
Police had confirmed no injuries from an incident at the Johor Schools Sports Council football tournament at a local secondary school.
A two-and-a-half-minute clip depicting the event had previously sparked rumours of injuries when it spread rapidly across social media platform TikTok.
Speculation arose when the match between teams from Batu Pahat and Johor Baru on Aug 10 appeared to show a brawl among players, but police clarified that the scuffle was a simple misunderstanding.
"The match concluded without any further incident," he added.
