Recently, a clip circulating on social media has shed light on a hit-and-run accident involving two SUVs and a motorcycle on the North-South Expressway.

Police are urging the driver of the sports utility vehicle (SUV) involved in an accident at KM 340.1 (northbound) of the North-South Expressway last Saturday to come forward to assist in the investigation.
As reported by Sinar Harian, Tapah OCPD Supt Mohd Naim Asnawi said that the accident involved two SUVs and a motorcycle and occurred at 11.09am and has gained significant attention online.
"The victim is an 18-year-old male motorcyclist who is a student at an institute of higher learning, and he sustained a left shoulder injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment at the time of the incident," said Supt Mohd Naim.
"One of the SUV drivers involved in this accident has come forward to assist in the investigation. Police are working to summon another SUV driver to provide a statement to aid the investigation," he added in a statement on Monday (Oct 7).
The case is being investigated under Rule 6(1) of the Road Traffic Rules 1959. Anyone with information is urged to contact Inspector Mohd Faizan Ahmad @ Mohammed Razikin at 013-208 7919 or 05-401 1222.
