IN A scene reminiscent of a thriller, a group of masked men armed with machetes has allegedly attacked a worker at a Raub eatery.
Captured on CCTV, the footage shows the victim being ambushed as he was tidying up after midnight.
The shocking video has since gone viral online, sparking widespread concern.

According to a report by Majoriti.com.my, the victim sustained injuries after being attacked by a group of masked men armed with machetes at an eatery in Sempalit, near Raub, Pahang, on Oct 23.
The victim, an employee of the establishment, was caught on the eatery's CCTV footage during the incident, which occurred around midnight.
At the time of the attack, the victim was seen cleaning up the shop before being ambushed by six men who emerged from a car parked in front of the premises.
Raub District Police Chief Superintendent Mohd Shahril Abdul Rahman confirmed the incident.
He reported that the 28-year-old victim suffered a six-inch (15 centimetre) laceration on his right arm and received treatment at Raub Hospital.
"The motive for the incident is still under investigation, and the police are actively tracking down all the suspects," he stated.
During questioning, the victim claimed he had no enemies and did not recognise the attackers or understand the motive behind the assault.
Authorities will also investigate the eatery's owner to determine the motive of the attack, with the case being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code for possessing ammunition.
"Individuals with information regarding this incident are requested to contact the Raub District Police Headquarters at 09-355 2222 or any nearby police station to assist in the investigation," he added.
