A recent incident in Temerloh, Pahang has caught public attention after a lorry was seen reversing uncontrollably down a hill.
But is it true that the lorry crashed after failing to climb the hill?

A man experienced a tense moment when the lorry he was driving reversed uncontrollably down a hill on Jalan Bukit Damar-Lakum in Temerloh, Pahang, after failing to climb it on Tuesday, Dec 10.
The incident received praise from netizens for the driver's skill in avoiding collisions with other vehicles.
Since then, a 57-second dashcam video went viral on social media, showing the lorry reversing and crashing into the roadside at the scene.
Temerloh District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mazlan Hassan stated that the police were informed of the incident at approximately 11.45am on the day.
Initial investigations revealed that the accident involved a lorry carrying a load of metal ore.
"Upon arriving at the scene, the lorry had crashed into the roadside slope.
"The investigation found that the lorry reversed after failing to climb the hill at the location," he said in a statement on Wednesday (Dec 11).
He added that by the time authorities arrived, the lorry driver had left the scene to seek treatment at a nearby clinic for minor leg injuries.
Mazlan noted that, as of now, no police report has been filed by the victim.
