Kenya's COVID-19 cases pass 17,000 mark after 960 more test positive

NAIROBI, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's Ministry of Health on Sunday confirmed that the country's COVID-19 cases passed the 17,000 mark after 960 people tested positive in the last 24 hours.

Mutahi Kagwe, Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Health, said in a statement issued in Nairobi that the national tally of COVID-19 positive cases stood at 17,603 after 8,261 samples were tested.
