LONDON, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Nearly 300 staff have tested positive for coronavirus at a local convenience food factory in Northampton in central England, which sends sandwiches to supermarkets all over Britain, British health officials said Thursday.

Health officials are dealing with the outbreak at the Greencore food company which has seen 299 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to Lucy Wightman, director of public health at Northamptonshire County Council.
