Roundup: COVID-19 infections in Iran exceed 370,000; Iraq reports highest 4,146 daily recoveries

CAIRO, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Iran's COVID-19 cases rose to 371,816 on Saturday with the addition of 1,905 new infections. Meanwhile, Iraq reported highest 4,146 daily recoveries from the coronavirus.

In Iran, the hardest-hit country in the Middle East region, 21,359 people have died from the virus, up by 110 in the past 24 hours. A total of 319,847 coronavirus patients have recovered, with 3,791 still in critical condition.
