Roundup: Iran's total COVID-19 cases reach 407,353; Iraq's tally approaches 300,000

CAIRO, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Iran's total number of COVID-19 cases increased by 2,705 to 407,353 on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Iraq's total count of COVID-19 cases climbed to 298,702 after 4,224 new infections were added.

Iran, the hardest-hit country in the Middle East, also reported 140 more deaths from the virus, raising the death toll to 23,453, while the tally of recoveries rose by 3,811 to 349,984.
