Chile reports 447,468 cases of COVID-19, 12,298 deaths

SANTIAGO, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chile's Ministry of Health on Monday reported 1,194 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the past 24 hours, bringing the total caseload since the onset of the outbreak in the country to 447,468.

It was the lowest daily number of new cases since early May.
