Roundup: Iran's COVID-19 cases increase to 496,253; Iraq's confirmed infections exceed 400,000

CAIRO, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Iran rose to 496,253 on Saturday. Meanwhile, Iraq's tally of coronavirus infections surpassed 400,000.

Iran, the hardest-hit country in the Middle East region, reported 3,875 new cases, bringing the total number of infections to 496,253.
