NEW YORK, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Shortened quarantine periods are being considered for air travelers between New York City and London as soon as the upcoming holidays, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on Monday.

Establishing those routes would require travelers to be tested for COVID-19 before their flight and again upon arrival, allowing them to avoid lengthy quarantines at their destinations, said the paper.
