France's Macron: curfew-breakers will be fined 135 euros

PARIS (Reuters) - French President Emmanuel Macron said on Wednesday that anyone violating a curfew to be imposed in major cities would be fined 135 euros ($158.61).

Speaking in an interview broadcast on national television, Macron said that, while the curfew lasts, people would have to forget about night-time visits to restaurants or to friends' houses. Essential trips during curfew would still be allowed.
