Roundup: Iran reports new record rise in COVID-19 cases as thousands of new infections detected in Morocco, Iraq

CAIRO, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- With 10,463 new cases added, Iran's daily new COVID-19 infections set a new record high on Monday as the total number of case in the country nears 700,000. Meanwhile, Morocco and Iraq also add thousands of new cases in the past 24 hours.

Iran announced on Monday a record of 10,463 new COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the country to 692,949, official news agency IRNA reported.
