China Focus: IPRs help poverty alleviation in China

BEIJING, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- China has been giving full play to intellectual property rights (IPR) in helping targeted poverty alleviation, an official said Thursday.

In poverty alleviation actions, China has explored effective ways in integrating patented technologies, trademark brands, and geographical indications (GIs), said Gan Shaoning, deputy head of the National Intellectual Property Administration (NIPA), at a press conference.
