Chile to begin COVID-19 vaccination in Q1 of 2021

SANTIAGO, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chile will begin vaccinating its population against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease in the first three months of 2021, starting with high-risk groups, Health Minister Enrique Paris said Monday.

"We are going to start vaccinating in the first quarter of 2021 ... To cover the entire population of Chile, we have to vaccinate at least 80 percent of the population," Paris said at a press conference.
