Shanghai crude oil futures open lower

SHANGHAI, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures opened lower Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.

The most active crude oil contract for February 2021 delivery was down 0.4 yuan (about 6 U.S. cents) to open at 301.9 yuan a barrel.
