Honduras reports decline in deaths from traffic accidents in 2020

TEGUCIGALPA, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- At least 1,157 people lost their lives in Honduras due to road accidents in 2020, a decline compared to previous years, the spokesman for the National Directorate of Roads and Transportation, Jose Estevez, said on Saturday.

During Christmas Eve celebrations, 10 people died due to road accidents, said Estevez.
