Roundup: Turkey's total COVID-19 cases exceed 2.23 mln; Gaza to receive 1st shipment of vaccines by March

CAIRO, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Turkey reported 11,180 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, raising the total number in the country to 2,232,035. Meanwhile, a Palestinian official said that the first shipment of the coronavirus vaccine is expected to arrive in the Gaza Strip by March.

The death toll from the virus in Turkey rose by 202 to 21,295, while the total recoveries climbed to 2,126,432, according to the country's health ministry.
