LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Warner Bros.' superheroine film "Wonder Woman 1984" took the top spot at the North American box office for the third weekend in a row with an estimated 3 million U.S. dollars from 2,218 locations between Friday and Sunday, according to studio figures collected by measurement firm Comscore.
"Wonder Woman 1984" has earned 32.6 million dollars in North America since it was released simultaneously in theaters and on the HBO Max streaming platform on Christmas Day. Only 36 percent of North American theaters are currently open amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
