Roundup: Morocco receives Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines; Over 2.8 mln in Israel, 1.5 mln in Turkey vaccinated against coronavirus

CAIRO, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- Morocco received on Wednesday its first batch of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines. Meanwhile, over 2.8 million people in Israel and 1.5 million in Turkey have been vaccinated against the pandemic.

The Sinopharm vaccines arrived at Morocco's Casablanca airport and will be distributed to 3,000 vaccination locations throughout the country, the Moroccan health ministry said in a statement.
