Algeria reports 217 new COVID-19 cases, 107,339 in total

ALGIERS, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Algeria on Sunday reported 217 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total infections in the North African country to 107,339.

The death toll from the virus in Algeria rose to 2,891 after three new fatalities were added, said the Algerian Ministry of Health in a statement.
