U.S. San Francisco Bay Area adds 1,745 new COVID-19 cases, 98 deaths

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- A total of 1,745 new cases of the coronavirus and 98 new deaths were reported in the U.S. San Francisco Bay Area on Saturday, according to a report by Bay Area News Group.

In San Francisco, nine people were reported dead while 140 people were infected on Saturday, bringing the total to 30,814 cases and 317 deaths, the report said on Sunday.
