WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris said on Wednesday she will travel to Guatemala and Mexico next month, as she spearheads the Biden administration's efforts to deal with an increase in migration at the U.S. southern border.
"Currently, the plan is for me to travel to Mexico and Guatemala on June 7 and 8th. And I'm very much looking forward to that trip," Harris told reporters while on a visit to Rhode Island.
