Gold falls on progress of Russia-Ukraine peace talks

CHICAGO, March 29 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange fell on Tuesday as Russia-Ukraine peace talks showed progress.

The most active gold contract for June delivery fell 26.7 U.S. dollars, or 1.37 percent, to close at 1,918 dollars per ounce.
