U.S. Great Salt Lake on verge of drying, contaminating air for residents


DENVER, the United States, June 23 (Xinhua) -- The most iconic landmark of the U.S. state of Utah, the Great Salt Lake, is rapidly disappearing and on the verge of becoming an environmental disaster zone, according to experts.

"Utah residents threatened by toxic dust from Great Salt Lake," and "windy conditions have led to dust advisories," a Fox News headline said Wednesday.
