China wins 8th diving gold at FINA worlds in Budapest


BUDAPEST, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Olympic champions Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi secured the eighth diving gold for China in as many events at the FINA World Championships here on Thursday, as the pair went all the way to win the women's 10m platform synchronized.

Both the players bagged their second title at the tournament, after Chen won the individual 10m platform event, ahead of her teammate Quan while the latter claimed the gold in the mixed 3m and 10m team event.
