Canada supports community-based organizations to address monkeypox outbreak

OTTAWA, July 21 (Xinhua) -- The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) said on Thursday that the government is partnering with community-based organizations to address monkeypox outbreak in the country.

In a news release, the PHAC announced a total of 350,000 Canadian dollars (280,000 U.S. dollars) to support community-based organizations in Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa, the regions most impacted by the monkeypox outbreak.
