HELSINKI, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- Finland has received a record number of international students this year, an increase of approximately 54 percent compared with the same period last year, the country's immigration service, Migri, said on Friday.
A total of 7,060 applicants from outside the European Union (EU) were granted first-time residence permits for studies between January and October 2022, while the approved number in the same period a year earlier was 4,595, according to Migri.
