Neymar equals Pele's Brazil scoring record

DOHA, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Neymar equalled Pele as Brazil's greatest ever scorer with an extra-time goal in his team's World Cup quarterfinal against Croatia on Friday.

Neymar put Brazil ahead in the 105th minute at Education City stadium with a superb run and finish after rounding goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward now has 77 goals in 124 international matches while Pele netted 77 times in 92 games.
