U.S. dollar ticks up

NEW YORK, July 18 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar rose in late trading on Tuesday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, increased 0.10 percent to 99.9385 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
