JERUSALEM -- Israeli demonstrators took to the streets across the country on Tuesday in protest against the far-right coalition's moves to push ahead with the controversial judicial overhaul.

The state-owned Kan TV news estimated that tens of thousands of protesters participated in the so-called "Day of Disruption," holding rallies on streets in major Israeli cities. TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart on Tuesday to discuss bilateral relations and Caucasus regional developments, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

BEIRUT -- Lebanese caretaker Defense Minister Maurice Slim on Tuesday called on the international community to pressure Israel to end its occupation of the northern part of Ghajar village in southern Lebanon, the National News Agency reported.

ANKARA -- Turkish drone maker Baykar signed a deal with Saudi Arabia to sell its combat drone "AKINCI TIHA," to the kingdom, Baykar's CEO said in a tweet Tuesday.

"We signed Bayraktar AKINCI TIHA export and cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia," said Haluk Bayraktar, CEO of Baykar Technology. (Türkiye-Saudi Arabia-Drone Deal)
