Egypt offers condolences to Algeria over deadly wildfires

CAIRO, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Egypt on Tuesday offered its sincere condolences to Algeria over the victims of deadly wildfires, said the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

Egypt expressed solidarity with the Algerian government, people, and the families of the victims of the wildfires and wished the injured a speedy recovery, said the ministry in a statement.

A total of 97 wildfires swept across 16 provinces amid high temperatures in Algeria, where at least 34 people had been killed, the Algerian Interior Ministry said on Monday.
