TEHRAN -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has pardoned 21 Iranians imprisoned in the Arab state and will soon repatriate them to their home country, Iran's official news agency IRNA reported on Tuesday.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the country's other rulers agreed to pardon the prisoners during a late June visit to Abu Dhabi by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the report said. (Iran-UAE-Prisoners Release)

ANKARA -- Türkiye will continue to back the Palestinian cause and support the prosperity of Palestinians, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Tuesday.

TEHRAN -- The Iranian naval forces on Tuesday received a homegrown "Abu Mahdi" cruise missile capable of hitting targets within 1,000 km, the official news agency IRNA reported.

SANAA -- The emergency team of the United Nations began on Tuesday a risky operation to transfer crude oil from the decaying tanker abandoned off Yemen's western coast, the official Yemen TV reported.

The UN team has started to offload more than one million barrels of crude oil from Safer, a floating storage and offloading facility (FSO) anchored in the Red Sea near the coast of the Hodeidah Province, the state TV said, citing official sources. (Yemen-FSO-UN-Operation)
