JERUSALEM -- A Palestinian gunman was killed after wounding six Israelis in a shooting attack in the West Bank settlement of Ma'ale Adumim on Tuesday afternoon, Israeli police said.
The attacker opened fire at a crowd outside a shopping mall in the settlement, before being "neutralized" by an off-duty officer, the police said in a statement. (West Bank-Palestinian-Shooting Attack)

JERUSALEM -- The Israeli Navy and defense company Elbit Systems have successfully completed sea trials for a new electronic warfare system, the Elbit said on Tuesday.

RIYADH -- Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday that it will provide economic support worth 1.2 billion U.S. dollars for Yemen to help address its budget deficit, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The support is provided at the request of the Yemeni government to help it cover operating expenses and guarantee food security, as part of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY), the report said. (Saudi Arabia-Yemen-Economic Support)

TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has proposed that Muslim states should downgrade or cut relations with Sweden and Denmark if sacrilegious acts against the Quran are repeated in the two Nordic countries.
Amir-Abdollahian elaborated in a tweet early Tuesday the proposals he put forward at an online meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held on Monday to discuss the recent desecration of the Islamic holy book in the two European countries.
