WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices rose on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for September delivery increased by 2.06 U.S. dollars to settle at 81.55 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
