ANKARA -- Türkiye's military carried out its third cross-border air operation into Iraq on Wednesday, after a suicide bomb attack in the capital Ankara on Sunday.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned at a security meeting on Wednesday that all the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Syrian Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) infrastructure and energy facilities in Syria and Iraq are now "legitimate targets for the Turkish military." KHARTOUM -- The Sudanese government rejected on Wednesday the United Nations Human Rights Council (OHCHR)'s draft resolution proposing the formation of a three-member investigation committee to address violations and crimes during the conflict in Sudan.
"Sudan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms its categorical rejection of the draft resolution because it is wrong in describing what is happening in Sudan, and because it is prejudiced against the Sudanese Armed Forces, and does not take into account the real priorities of Sudan at this phase," the ministry said in a statement. DAMASCUS -- Six non-Syrian, pro-Iran fighters were killed on Monday night in an Israeli missile attack on military sites in Syria's eastern province of Deir al-Zour near the Syrian-Iraqi border, a war monitor reported on Tuesday.
The latest strikes hit positions of the pro-Iran militias in the city of al-Bukamal in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour, including a conduit for supplies coming to the militias from Iran via Iraq, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. TEHRAN -- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday voiced the country's readiness to help ensure peace and stability in the Caucasus region and resolve differences between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

JERUSALEM -- The Israeli Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that Israel had dispatched a medical team to Armenia's capital Yerevan to provide assistance to those injured in the fuel depot explosion that took place in the Nagorno-Karabakh Region on September 25.
The Israeli team, which includes plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensive care doctors, and nurses specializing in burn treatment, brought advanced equipment for the treatment of burns and began its work in five hospitals in Yerevan on Wednesday. (Israel-Armenia-Fuel Depot Explosion)
